Performance
Horsepower explores the fetishisation of the car as commodity good; as object of function, object of desire, object of status, object that we control, object that controls us. We do not always know where we are going or whether we even want to get there. The work addresses these questions in physical space, with a movement and sound piece revolving around acceleration, power and velocity within motion.
