ANNA LANN

is a conceptual interdisciplinary audio-visual artist, composer, singer and musical producer, who works in a variety of mediums, from visual arts and sound-design to film, contemporary dance, performance and installation art. In her practice she explores philosophical and scientific notions, using surreal situations to examine the boundaries between reality and fantasy, constantly pushing the limits between an art object and a subject.

Latvian born, Tel Aviv raised and currently living in London - Anna has spent the majority of her adult years as a touring artist, acquiring multicultural influences which manifest directly in her versatile works. Combining classical and modern elements, fusing acoustic instruments with electronics and synthesizers.

Anna started her professional artistic career in the late 2000s as a guitarist, keyboard player and co-producer of the notorious pop band ‘Terry Poison’. In the 2010s she kicked off a solo career, releasing music with several UK and LA based labels. She is a co-composer and contributer for ‘Castle In time’ Orchestra, a collaborator with the ‘Bat-Sheva’ Dance company and other independent choreographers, in addition to composing original scores for international film directors, fashion brands and commercials. Anna has co-founded the Penthouss art-hub, which regularly exhibits commissioned contemporary artworks in museums and galleries in the UK, Europe and Israel.
